Yeastar S-Series IP-PBXs with Yealink IP Phones

The Yeastar S-Series of modular IP-PBXs is an incredible solution for on-premise VoIP control for SMBs (small-to-midsize businesses). Yeastar focuses on meeting the demands of businesses for flexible communications solutions. They don’t want to be stuck in a single ecosystem. As such, Yeastar IP-PBXs have been tested to work with a wide range of IP phones, including the popular Yealink IP phones.

In this blog, we’re going to get into how Yealink phones work with Yeastar S-Series IP-PBXs, but first we’re going to say a bit more about the Yeastar IP-PBXs, specifically about how flexible they are due to their modular nature.

Modularity is a wonderful thing, because you don’t have to pay for features you don’t need, even if it can be a bit confusing. Yeastar provides modules that you insert into the IP-PBX to give you a variety of interfaces:

  • FXO/FXS for analog communications
  • ISDN BRI for digital communications
  • E1/T1/PRI for digital communications
  • GSM/3G/4G LTE for cellular communications

A single IP-PBX can be used to translate between the IP network and endpoints that connect to any of these interfaces. On top of that, Yeastar expands the modularity through apps, including:

  • Linkus Mobile Client for using mobile devices through the VoIP network
  • Billing App for monitoring and recording calls
  • Hotel App for the hospitality industry
  • Conference Panel for controlling conference calls
  • LDAP Server for centralized phonebook management
  • PBX Center for managing PBX functions
  • VPN Server for securely connecting the IP-PBX to remote networks

There’s one more to mention: Auto Provisioning. The Yeastar Auto Provisioning app makes configuring VoIP phones to work your network, well, automatic. The app includes auto-provisioning support for Yealink VoIP phones.

  • Yealink T4 Series: T40P, T41S, T42S, T46S, T48S

Yealink is not only similarly named to Yeastar, but they share Yeastar’s emphasis on building flexible business solutions. Let’s take a look at a few of them.

The Yealink W52P is a wireless VoIP phone that gives you the mobility of a cordless phone with the network connectivity and features of an IP phone.

The Yealink T4 Series is designed for businesses that demand cutting edge performance and reliability for everyday use with options from the executive T49P to the entry-level T40P. Optima HD audio technology gives you top-class sound.

The Yealink T2 Series features cost-effective deskphones with support for advanced VoIP telephony features like TLS and SRTP encryption and Open VPN secure configuration.

Yeastar S-Series IP-PBXs provide an on-premise solution for making sure you get the most out of your Yealink phones, while being able to integrate the IP phones with analog, digital, or cellular endpoints.
